Bio

I obtained my degrees in Psychology and Neurobiology from Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. I then pursued my PhD at Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology in Warsaw, focusing on abnormal high-frequency oscillations in the NMDA receptor hypofunction model of psychosis-like states. I joined the Marin and Rico Labs to investigate the cellular and network mechanisms underlying abnormal brain oscillations in preclinical models. My work combines in vivo electrophysiology with pharmacological approaches to record and manipulate neural activity.
