Bio

I am a PhD student in the Wellcome Trust Advanced Therapies and Regenerative Medicine programme at King’s College London. My research focuses on modelling human brain development using stem cell–derived organoids and xenotransplantation to study how genes involved in Neurodevelopmental Disorders affect interneuron subtype development and synaptic connectivity in the context of neuropsychiatric disorders. I previously completed a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Translational Neuroscience, where I investigated neuronal regeneration and spinal cord injury. Before starting my PhD, I worked as a research assistantstudying Huntington’s disease.
