I graduated from the University of Alicante in 2014 with a degree in Biological Sciences. Then, I moved to Barcelona to complete an MSc in Neurosciences at the University of Barcelona (2015), where I trained in the lab of Eduardo Soriano studying synaptic connectivity patterns that emerge during adult hippocampal neurogenesis. In 2016, I joined King’s College London as a joint PhD student in the labs of Beatriz Rico and Oscar Marín. I am investigating molecular mechanisms underlying the synaptic assembly of cortical cell types, and how genetic variations associated to schizophrenia could perturb the wiring of cortical circuits during postnatal development.
Outside the lab, I am a music and sports enthusiast, and I love travelling.
