Bio

David was a joined PhD student in the labs of Beatriz Rico and Oscar Marín from 2016-2021. He investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying the synaptic assembly of cortical cell types, and how genetic variations associated to schizophrenia could perturb the wiring of cortical circuits during postnatal development.

Now he is an EMBO postdoctoral fellowship in the lab of Christopher Walsh, at Division of Genetics and Genomics, Department of Pediatrics, Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA.
