Bio
I am a PhD student in the Marin lab since 2018. My project focuses on understanding the role of postnatal regulation of cortical cell numbers on cortical function. I was born in Estonia, where I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Gene Technology at Tallinn University of Technology. In 2016 I moved to London for an internship at University College London with Dr Samuel Solomon to gain experience in mouse behaviour and in vivo extracellular recordings. A year later, I was offered a position in the MRC-Sackler PhD programme at the MRC Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders at King’s College London.
