I completed my undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences (2014) at the University of Alicante (Spain). Then, I moved to Barcelona to study a Master degree in Neurosciences at the University of Barcelona (2015). In 2016, I joined King’s College London as a joint PhD student in the laboratories of Oscar Marín and Beatriz Rico. During my PhD, I am investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying the synaptic assembly of cortical cell types, and how genetic variations associated to schizophrenia could perturb the wiring of cortical circuits during postnatal development. Outside the lab, I enjoy running, food, and music.
