I completed a BSc in Software Development at the University of Malta in 2018, followed by an MSc in Computer Science and AI at the University of Manchester in 2019, funded by the Maltese ENDEAVOUR scholarship scheme. I joined BIOS Health Ltd in Cambridge (UK) as an intern, modelling the recording and stimulation of local field potentials propagating along peripheral nerves via cuff electrodes. Alongside and in between my studies, I gained industry experience as a software engineer across various early-stage startups.
In 2025, I was offered a position on the Crick PhD Programme and joined the Sadeh and Marin labs to research biologically inspired mechanisms for continual and transfer learning. Outside the lab, I enjoy hiking and experimenting with electronic music.
